Responsible for planning and scheduling orders to meet customer delivery expectations. Effectively utilizes appropriate planning tools to ensure the manufacturing floor is positioned for service success. Responsible for creating and managing hour by hour schedules.
Maintains and verifies the Hour by Hour Schedule to meet customer requirements while optimizing operational efficiencies.
Plans and implements activities related to the timely, cost-effective management of planning and scheduling system as new orders are scheduled.
Identifies and communicates potential scheduling conflicts and creates solutions. Monitors production process and adjusts schedules as needed.
Works closely with and provides data to all Value Stream Managers.
Ensures the timely, cost-effective management of expediting, finished goods inventory control, and secondary order management.
Assist in keeping facility workload level loaded.
Provides daily reports on load analysis, potential bottle necks, and out vend opportunities.
Coordinates communication between Operations and Customer Service for potential delivery issues.
Compiles and reports daily/weekly/monthly schedule attainment metrics.
Participates in continuous improvement of Planning and Scheduling Systems.
Perform any other job related function as required
A strong understanding of Good Documentation and Manufacturing Processes and procedures to create a quality product.

Experience & Aptitudes:
Bachelor’s degree (or working towards a Bachelor’s degree).
Scheduling experience within a manufacturing setting preferred.
Prior related work experience a plus.
Ability to interact with all types of people, get along with co-workers, customers, vendors, and visitors to the facility and respond politely to all individuals.
