JOB SUMMARY

Create and maintain revision controlled programs related to the measurements of product via CMM and Keyence Vision System.  Perform inspection and tests for quality control for the manufacture of products.  Support Quality Engineers through capability studies, GRRs, and inspection method inputs.  Assist with other quality related functions upon Managerial request.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Program and operate CAD based CMM’s using DMIS software. 
•  
• Perform 1^st piece inspection (new product only)
• Assist engineers as they create, modify and test products and processes
• Prepare and conduct experiments and record results.
• Train operators with proper gaging technique and print interpretation
• Support QE’s with GR&R and capability studies
• Be able to multitask in a fast paced environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Associate degree in a technical field. Minimum of 2 years’ experience with CMM programming.  Proficiency with basic measuring instruments.  Strong knowledge of Metrology, GD&T and inspection methods. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact with all co-workers in a professional courteous manner.  PC-DMIS experience preferred.
