Summary: Directs, plans, organizes and controls the activities of personnel involved in the planning, purchasing, inventory management and shipping functions to assure these areas of responsibility support the Company’s overall growth and profitability objectives.

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of all planning and supply chain activities. The Supply Chain Manager is also responsible for carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Safety - Responsible for helping maintain a safe and secure work environment through observation and elimination of potentially unsafe conditions and work practices.
Quantity - Ensures work group meets productivity standards by completing work in a timely manner.

Education and/or Experience – Bachelor’s degree in Management or similar discipline plus 3-5 or more years manufacturing experience plus supervisory experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, ISO standards, budget preparation and cost control, good interpersonal and communication skills, PC proficiency (word, spreadsheet and presentation software and MRP systems). Requires ability to succeed and manage multiple priorities in a constantly changing environment.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Dress is consistent with floor management in a manufacturing environment. Facility and grounds are tobacco free.
